This Highland cow card features Among the Buttercups, an original photograph of Clancy grazing in a flower-rich Cumbrian meadow.
Buttercups, clover and meadow grasses surround her as she grazes beneath a wide summer sky. Her russet coat and sweeping horns stand out against the green pasture. Meanwhile, the flowers bring colour and texture to the foreground.
The photograph captures a simple moment from everyday life with our Highland cattle. It also shows the landscape that forms such an important part of their lives.
You can also find Among the Buttercups in our Highland cow fine art print collection.
Clancy among the buttercups
We photographed Clancy while she was grazing naturally with the fold in Cumbria. There was no staged setting or posed moment. Instead, she was simply making her way through the summer pasture.
Buttercups and clover spread across the meadow around her. Mature trees frame the scene, while the surrounding countryside stretches into the background.
As a result, Among the Buttercups is about more than the cow alone. The meadow and its plants are an important part of the photograph too.
This makes the card a lovely choice for Highland cow enthusiasts and countryside lovers. It should also appeal to anyone who enjoys cattle, farming or flower-rich grassland.
A Highland cow card for many occasions
We leave the inside completely blank, so you can write your own message.
That makes the card suitable for birthdays, thank-you notes and congratulations. However, you could just as easily use it to send a thoughtful handwritten message.
We also include a brown Kraft envelope with every card.
Printed on heavyweight fine paper
We print the photograph on 324gsm Mohawk Fine Paper with a smooth matte finish.
